PRIVACY POLICY IN GENERAL
- MyResumeWizard.com (for convenience, we refer to MyResumeWizard.com as  “MRW.com” or “we” or “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of our users (referred to as “user” or “you”), that access and use this Site for the creation of resumes and cover letters, along with features for distributing them, and other services (the “Site services”). The Site and its services are accessed through www.MyResumeWizard.com., and certain other internet locations (collectively, the “Site”).
- Our privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) advises you and other users of the Site’s services, and about the information MRW.com may gather about or collect from you when you use of the Site, and its services, and how we use and disclose such information.
- Each time you use the Site services, the most recent version of this Privacy Policy will apply to your access and use, and you should regularly review any changes since the last time you used the Site.
- By accessing the Site, you transfer personal information to us, and by using the Site, you consent to that transfer and use of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You also agree to abide by all applicable laws concerning your use of the Site and your agreements with us. Any persons accessing our Site from any jurisdiction with laws or regulations governing the use of the Internet, including personal data collection, use and disclosure that are at variance from those of the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and countries with similar laws, should only use the Site in a manner lawful in their jurisdiction. OUR COLLECTION, USE AND DISCLOSURE OF USER INFORMATION


Site Registration
Much of the user information we collect from and about users is provided by users when they open an account, such as a name, address, and email address. That “Identifying Information” such as a user’s name or email address, can be directly linked to or associated with a Site user. We may request additional information about your interests, your gender, job title, age, date of birth, username, hometown, country, and other information as determined from time to time. When you transact business with us, we may also collect and store for future use, credit and/or debit card information and other payment information. Users need not provide such information, but a user’s refusal to do so will prevent the user from using most or all of the Site’s services.
BY REGISTERING WITH OR USING THE SITE, YOU CONSENT TO THE USE AND DISCLOSURE OF YOUR IDENTIFYING INFORMATION AS DESCRIBED IN THIS SECTION.


Use Prohibited by Children Younger Than 13 Years of Age Absent Consent of Parent or Guardian


All persons providing personal information through the Site, represents to us that he or she is 13 years of age or older. If you are not 13 years of age or older, please stop at once and consult with your parent or guardian before making any further use of this Site.  They must review the Terms and this Privacy policy and agree to it for you before allowing you to proceed. 
We do not knowingly seek, obtain, collect or store personal information from anyone under the age of 13, except as permitted by law.  If we determine that personal information was obtained from a user under age 13, we will take act to effect the deletion of this information as soon as is practicable.
If you are the parent or legal guardian of a child under 13 who has transferred personal information to the Site, contact us to have the account created by that child terminated and its information deleted.


Our Communications Relating to You
We may send announcements to users that include, for example, notices of service expiration, renewal and related payment information, as well as information about expiration or renewal. We have the right to send you account notices even if you elect to opt out of all voluntary email notifications. We may also occasionally use names and contact information to notify users of certain Site services.


Information Disclosures
MRW.com will disclose identifying user information in the following  circumstances:


-     When Necessary to Protect Rights, or where Permitted, or Required by law.  Whenever we determine that disclosure is appropriate or necessary in connection with efforts to investigate, prevent, or otherwise act  regarding real or suspected wrongdoing,  including any suspected or real illegal activity, with or without the involvement of law enforcement;  to protect the rights of our Site, its operators, users, and others; to comply with applicable law and/or cooperate with law enforcement; to clarify or enforce the Terms of Use or other agreements or policies; in response to lawful process, such as a subpoena, administrative order, court order or similar investigative demand, and including a formal or informal request for cooperation from law enforcement or government agencies; to assert, protect or pursue legal rights of the Site, and to contest proceedings, lawsuits or other legal claims; or as otherwise permitted or required by law. Although we may have rights under various laws or agreements or otherwise to object to disclosures sought by others such as law enforcement, we reserve the right to assert or to waive, any objections, defenses or rights available to us.


-   Third Party Service Providers. We may share your Identifying Information, which may include your name and contact information (including email address) with authorized service providers that perform services on our behalf. These services may include fulfilling orders, providing customer service and marketing assistance, performing business and sales analysis, and supporting our Site functionality. We may also share your name, contact information and credit card information with our authorized service providers who process credit card payments. These service providers may have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but are not permitted to share or use such information for any other purpose.


-   Sale or Change of Control; Insolvency Proceedings. MRW.com reserves the right to transfer all Identifying Information in its possession, custody or control to any successor entity following a merger, acquisition,  bankruptcy, assignment for the benefit of creditors, or other sale of all or a portion of its assets. Except as ordered by a bankruptcy judge or a judge of a similar court, the use and disclosure of all transferred Identifying Information will be subject to this Privacy Policy or a new privacy policy adopted by any successor entity.


Changes to Your Account and Other Information; Termination of Account
You can review or change your Identifying Information at any time, or terminate your account if you wish. As soon as is practicable under applicable law and our policies, and after receiving your request, we will deactivate and/or delete your account and contact information from our active databases.  To make this request, contact us. We will necessarily  retain some personal information to prevent fraud, to resolve problems, assist with any pending or likely investigations, enforce our Terms of Use and to comply with legal requirements as is permitted by law. In the event of a pending or expected dispute, we reserve the right to maintain data about a user for the time reasonably needed to complete and resolve said dispute.

 


The General Use of Identifying Information
We use Identifiable Information and other information we obtain from your  Site access and use to: deliver the products and services you requested, administer your account and provide with support, resolve disputes, problems, tailor your experience, administer and enforce our Terms of Use, and as otherwise described at the time of collection via this privacy Policy and our terms of Use. Periodically, we may consider  the data from multiple users for these  and related purposes, and to identify users with multiple IDs for example, to detect errors, process payments, protect against potentially illegal or fraudulent transactions, and as otherwise necessary or appropriate to manage our business.


GATHERING, USE AND DISCLOSURE OF NON-IDENTIFYING INFORMATION


Use of Cookies
-     Web Cookies (“cookies”) reveal the pages that users visit during Site sessions. We use cookies to better assess how the Site is used and to improve the Site. We analyze and may disclose information gathered using cookies in the aggregate rather than in an individual form, to assist us in  assessing Site use by users. MRW.com does not attempt to link information gathered using Cookies to Identifying Information. When logged in however, a cookie is associated with a specific user profile.  If that computer will be later used by others, the user should clear cookies from the computer or alert others to do so.
NOTE: IF YOUR BROWSER IS SET TO REFUSE COOKIES, YOU WILL NOT BE GRANTED ACCESS TO THE SITE. SITE USERS WHO REFUSE WEB COOKIES ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RESULTING LOSS OF FUNCTIONALITY.


Other Information Sharing
-     We may share aggregated NSI as outlined below, and to deliver tailored advertising on the Site. We may share aggregated information with third parties, for business analysis. This aggregated information does not contain any Identifying Information.


Site Users
-     “Non-Specific Information” (“NSI”) is information that cannot be directly associated with a specific person unless other information is considered.   We collect NSI from Site users available from browsers. Examples include a user’s IP address, operating system, and the locations of the Web pages a user views immediately before arriving at, while using and immediately after departing from the Site. NSI about Site users enables us to better understand how the Site is used, and to improve its design.  MRW.com may also release NSI gathered from Site users in the aggregate.


DATA SECURITY
The very best privacy and security measures cannot fully eliminate all risks to your personal information, including your Identifying Information. We cannot warrant that that information you share or post will not become publicly available as a result of outside causes, that include non-party actions such as interference, illegal actions, so-called “hacking,” unauthorized user behavior, unauthorized use of your computer, user name or passwords, theft, breach of fiduciary duties, natural disasters, and your decisions to provide information with another user or potential employer. We disclaim responsibility for illegal, non-party, and intentional “outside” evasion of or failures to adhere to privacy settings or security measures.


UPDATES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
As noted above, MRW.com may, in its sole discretion, supplement, modify or change this Privacy Policy, and all such changes will be reflected on this page. All users should check this page on a regular basis to ascertain and assess changes to the Privacy Policy.


CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California resident users to request and obtain once per year, free of charge, information about any personal information we have disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the past calendar year. This information would include the categories of personal information shared, and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared information. California residents requesting such information, should submit the request to us in writing, and we will respond within the time allowed by law or a reasonable time.
